GISPA,
or International Competition for Aeronautical Design Schools, is a
competition created by the Andrea Ponti High School in Gallarate, in
Italy,in the province of Varese.
The competition requires the design of a fixed-wing aircraft with a maximum take-off weight of 4 kg.
The jury for identifying the winning institute will be the Department
of Aerospace Science and Technology of the Polytechnic University of
Milan, through its student association FLY MI www.milano.euroavia.eu
This association will identify the top three in the competition.
The minimum content required for the competition is the drawing of the three views of the designed aircraft.
The criteria for assigning the score of the competition are the following:
a) completeness of the project (calculations)
b) innovation and/or originality of the project
3) remote presentation of the project by the students
The project must be sent in .pdf format to
gispa@iisponti.edu.it
The deadline for registration is the end of February, the project must
be sent in mid-June; the winner will be announced at the end of June.
